Auto One Bunbury Junior Sedan Gold Cup This Weekend

The future stars of Speedway racing will be on show at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway Saturday night with the running of the Auto One Bunbury Junior Sedan Gold Cup.

At the time of publication, a healthy field of both Top Star and New Star Junior Sedans have nominated for the event, with the Top Star category headlined by Collie’s Seth Hinsey, who went undefeated in his last appearance at the venue. He will have strong competition against the local contingent with Matthew Thomson and Brandon Buszan who both had strong runs at the Junior Sedan State Title at the Atwell Park Speedway in Albany and are looking to continue their strong runs at home.

New Star Junior Sedans, who are drivers within their first two years of Speedway racing are all excited to gain valuable experience out on the Bunbury Bullring.

All drivers won’t go away empty handed from the event, with some great prizes for the kids thanks to Bunbury Auto One and Heatley’s.

Street Stocks, Legend Cars and Production Sedans are all on the program, with the latter two divisions gearing up for their State Titles coming in the later weeks, with the Legend Car State Title held at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway final meeting of the season on May 4th while the Production Sedan Championship being run at the Ellenbrook Speedway next weekend with the Bunbury Car Club represent by Wayne Leviston and Darren Currell.

This weekend’s Auto One Bunbury Junior Sedan Gold Cup gates will open at 4pm with racing underway from 6pm.
